Art Quest

COMMUNITY ART ENGAGEMENT

In 2022, AURORA launched Art Quest, the annual art discovery program taking place in Dallas neighborhoods identified in the Dallas Cultural Plan. This unique program connects diverse communities needing greater access to art with leading regional artists through interactive, scavenger hunt-style events. With Art Quest, AURORA aims to foster creativity, diversity, and inclusivity through the power of contemporary art and technology.

For each Art Quest, AURORA commissions sculptures developed through the use of 3D printing technologies, which make a valuable addition to any art lover’s collection. The sculptures are placed at secret outdoor locations for the participants to discover. The first finder can collect the artwork on the spot, along with a certificate of authenticity, and has the chance for a one-on-one studio visit with the artist who created it.

Expanding its mission of merging art, technology, and community, AURORA additionally organizes educational workshops about art and technology in the frame of the Art Quest program.
