TEATRO DALLAS

This year, Art Quest is getting a theatrical twist: Teatro Dallas joins us in Pleasant Grove and South Dallas with live performances that bring the Art Quest scavenger hunt clues to life. Participants will encounter, interpret, and interact with the performative moments designed to guide, surprise, and deepen the storytelling behind each quest, transforming the experience into a dynamic, multi-sensory adventure.

MEOW WOLF

For this year’s Art Quest, our friends at Meow Wolf are generously providing complimentary tickets for registered Art Quest participants to experience their interactive museum in Grapevine, where art exhibition turns into an immersive adventure. Please note: these tickets can only be physically received at the Art Quest event.

In 2022, AURORA launched Art Quest, an annual art discovery program held in neighborhoods identified in the Dallas Cultural Plan. Using the mobility of technology to create accessible cultural experiences, this unique program connects diverse communities through interactive, scavenger hunt-style events.

For each Art Quest, AURORA commissions outstanding artworks by leading regional artists, which are showcased during the event and awarded as prizes to participants, making a valuable addition to any art lover’s collection. The first participant to complete the quest collects the artwork on the spot, along with a certificate of authenticity, and has the opportunity to meet the artist who created it.

Through this community-oriented initiative, AURORA brings innovative original artworks into public spaces, inviting participants to engage with creativity in new and meaningful ways. Art Quest also highlights the digital divide, raising awareness about unequal access to technology and arts programming while promoting inclusivity and cultural connection.

Expanding its mission of merging art, technology, and community, AURORA additionally organizes educational workshops as part of the Art Quest programming.
