ABOUT     EXPANDED     BIENNIAL

AURORA EXPANDED:
Oct. 30 – Nov. 4, 2018

In addition to the main exhibition ‘Future Worlds,’ the 2018 AURORA Biennial introduced AURORA Expanded, a citywide program of collateral events that expanded into five adjacent districts of Dallas. Moving forward, AURORA Expanded will bring together the technology-based art community and its supporters through a year-round series of site-specific installations,  special events and social gatherings.

In 2018, installations, exhibitions and other various events took place throughout a week-long program, which included eight projects produced by a selection of Dallas-based artists who received grants from the City of Dallas Office of Cultural Affairs (these artists are denoted with a *).
