2026 ARTISTS

AURORA Biennial 2026: States of Becoming brings together 30 local, national, and international artists whose forward-thinking practices explore the intersections of contemporary art, technology, and society.

Exploring transformation, shifting identities, and the possibilities of change, States of Becoming considers how our world is continually shaped and reshaped by technological, social, and cultural forces.

Through immersive installations, moving image, sound, performance, and experimental approaches to new media, participating artists challenge perspectives and invite new ways of seeing and experiencing the world around us.

Presented across Dallas and Fort Worth from November 4–21, the Biennial brings ambitious contemporary art beyond traditional exhibition spaces and into the public realm, creating opportunities for discovery, dialogue, and shared experiences.
