Diana Rojas:
Query

Video Projection

Query (2022), drawing its title from Isaac Newton’s 1704 book Opticks, is a single-channel video piece featuring rings of light, widening portals, clusters of stars, and movements of light and shadow. This piece utilizes abstracted imagery of the cosmos to engage with our environment and the idea of presence, serving as a reminder of the distance between humanity, the invisible, and the immense.
