About
As part of the curated program on the evening of November 16th, 2024 at Dallas City Hall, the sixth AURORA Biennial presents music activations by Mariachi Rosas Divinas, Radio Community Choir (Powered by KGGR Radio Station), and the Woodrow Wilson High School Wildcat Band.
Mariachi Rosas Divinas
Mariachi Rosas Divinas have broken the mold when it comes to the beloved style of mariachi music. As the first and only all-female mariachi group in the DFW Metroplex, and one of the few in the country, they break away from traditional stereotypes, breathing new life into a traditional music style that originated in the small pueblos of 19th-century Mexico.
Woodrow Wilson High School Wildcat Band
Woodrow Wilson High School Wildcat Marching Band is the marching band of Woodrow Wilson High School in Dallas, Texas. Known for vibrant performances of a wide range of music, the band plays a central role n school events, sports games, and community parades.
Radio Community Choir
The Radio Community Choir (Powered by KGGR Radio Station was established in December 2023. The goal of the choir is to minister to people all over the world, helping others create a posture of worship.
