AURORA 2010

In 2010, Aurora presented its inaugural event, including works by 40 local artists in the setting of the Dallas Heritage Village. The exhibition offered an evening of free, accessible, and fun contemporary art for the city of Dallas to enjoy alongside the Cedars Open Studios.

Buildings became projection screens; streets and courtyards morphed into art galleries; and steel, glass, and concrete pulsed and reverberate, transforming Dallas’ most historic neighborhood into a mega-surround-sound system and uncommon art studio.
