EDUCATION

Part of AURORA’s mission is to help educate, foster and engage the artists and creative thinkers of tomorrow. Since AURORA’s inception in 2010, we’ve worked with various community groups, schools, universities and organizations to create a network of art mentoring programs focused on successful artistic practices.

Over the last nine years, the students of Booker T. Washington High School for the Performing and Visual Arts have had their own exhibition at AURORA's biennial event. Their artwork has been placed and viewed alongside that of internationally renowned artists such as Paula Crown, Jitish Kallat, Bettina Pousttchi, James Clar, Miguel Chevalier, Refik Andadol and Quayola and has been seen by over 170,000 visitors.

If you are interested in sponsoring, volunteering or partnering with AURORA for future educational programs, we welcome you to contact us at info@dallasaurora.com.
