Dance Performance
Bruce Wood Dance commissioned the cutting edge Shanghai-born and New York-based choreographer Yin Yue to create begin again in June 2018. Since its premiere at Moody Performance Hall, it has been described as "extraordinarily physically and technically demanding, intense and intimidating at times, the tension almost palpable against a thrumming background of electronic music.” For AURORA, BWD presented an exceprt of this performance with dancers Megan Storey and Gabriel Speiller.
Now in its eighth year, Bruce Wood Dance is the premier contemporary dance company in Dallas and is dedicated to producing work by its late founder Bruce Wood® as well as commissioning new work by choreographers who share his emotionally moving impetus.
