This year’s AURORA spans a footprint along Young Street in Downtown Dallas, bounded on the east by Ervay Street, the south by Canton and the Kay Bailey Hutchinson Convention Center, the west by Griffin Street, and the north by Young Street. It encompasses Dallas City Hall.
How much does it cost?
The event is free and open to the public. Come one, come all! There are costs associated with parking as well as for food and beverages. What is the dress code?
AURORA is casual. The entire footprint of the event is big (54 acres!), so it’s best to wear comfortable shoes.Can I take DART?
Yes – in fact, we encourage it as DART is AURORA’s official transportation provider! You can take the Red or Blue Line to the Convention Center Station. Check out the DART website for more details. Where do I park and how much does it cost?
There are many public lots and paid parking options nearby in Downtown Dallas. This website is a great resource for assessing all your parking options. The Kay Bailey Hutchinson Convention Center also has a great parking map you can use as a resource. Parking varies from limited free street parking in Downtown to paid lots costing up to $20.
The first 500 people to register their vehicles using the code below will receive $5 parking at the lots located at either 1600 or 1700 Canton Street. Click on the Guest Checkout link for the LIGHTSHOW zone to receive the special parking rate.
We encourage carpooling or ridesharing to get to the event. The drop point for ride share is Griffin and Wood Streets.
